• Strong customer-service and communication skill, with the ability to work professionally with customers and service writers Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently. Work on complex systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and heavy equipment mechanics when required. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the service experience. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, auto body repair, auto estimating, and diesel engine repair is desirable. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service technology. Ability to read schematics accurately and work with complex mechanical systems including transmissions and powertrain components. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills. Valid certification or licensing related to automotive repair (e.g., ASE certification) is advantageous.
