Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a solid understanding of the collision repair process. You will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition by performing a variety of body repairs, replacements, and refinishing tasks. This is a full-time, in-person position offering a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods. Remove, repair, or replace damaged body parts, including panels, bumpers, and fenders. Straighten frames and unibody structures using specialized equipment. Sand, fill, and prepare surfaces for painting and refinishing. Install new parts and ensure proper alignment and fit. Work with a variety of materials, including metal, plastic, and composites. Collaborate with estimators, painters, and other technicians to ensure high-quality repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols. Document all repairs and parts used according to company procedures. Qualifications Previous experience as an Automotive Body Technician or similar role. Working knowledge of the collision repair process. Ability to use hand and power tools, frame machines, and welding equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and technical manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
