Full-time Description:
Advantage Truck Group (ATG) has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Body Shop Technician- Class A Commercial Vehicles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collision Repair:
Execute precise vehicle repairs in strict accordance with estimation sheets and manufacturer guidelines.Quality Control:
Inspect delivered parts against estimates to verify accuracy and ensure all necessary components are present.Vehicle Preparation:
Prepare vehicle surfaces, structures, and panels thoroughly for upcoming body and refinishing work.Damage Assessment:
Identify and report hidden damage or necessary supplemental repairs to management immediately.Timeline Management:
Communicate production delays, technical challenges, or timeline changes proactively to the shop manager.Equipment Maintenance:
Keep all shop tools, machinery, and specialty repair equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained.Safety Compliance:
Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including properly fitted respirators.Regulatory Adherence:
Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal, EPA standards, and OSHA guidelines.Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with painters, preppers, and other technicians to optimize shop workflow and efficiency. Desired Education and /or Experience 2+ Years of Experience Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of professional automotive or commercial collision repair experience required.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in general collision repair; experience with refinishing prep or structural frame correction is a strong plus.Licensing:
Valid driver's license required; a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.Physical Demands:
Ability to operate heavy shop machinery, lift repair materials, and stand for extended periods.
