Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, with a focus on GM vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a passion for automotive service, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Conduct repairs specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. Utilize schematics to align and transmit vehicle systems effectively. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Skills Proficiency in auto estimating and automotive service practices. Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and engine repair. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. ASE Certification and experience working with GM vehicles. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus. At least 2 years experience as an automotive technician.
