Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems such as powertrain, electrical, suspension, transmission, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing faulty components, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical wiring, and other mechanical parts. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to troubleshoot electrical systems and ensure proper installation or repairs. Conduct wheel alignments and vehicle suspension system repairs to optimize handling and safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance instruments efficiently to complete repairs with precision. Follow dealership procedures for auto estimating and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations. Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with powertrain repairs, vehicle transmission system repairs, diesel engine repairs, and vehicle maintenance tasks. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and understanding automotive wiring diagrams. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including ADAS technology, suspension systems, transmissions, and electrical wiring. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance devices safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus.
