Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep our production lines running smoothly, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals with a passion for technical problem-solving and industrial maintenance. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Utilize schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Troubleshoot electrical systems using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters; conduct electrical diagnostics on low and high voltage systems. Repair and maintain HVAC/R systems, including HVAC units and refrigeration components, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Operate precision measuring instruments to ensure equipment meets specifications; conduct welding repairs using welding techniques when necessary. Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Conduct field service activities including equipment troubleshooting, repairs on scissor lifts, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, and troubleshooting pneumatic systems. Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret schematics and troubleshoot complex machinery issues efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and supporting production needs through technical sales experience when applicable. Qualifications Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical diagnostics, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Experience reading schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting documents. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management; experience in electrical maintenance preferred. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters confidently. Skilled in welding techniques specific to welding standards; experience with HVAC/R systems is a plus. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage/ high voltage electrical systems, and industrial electrician experience preferred. Excellent analysis skills combined with a proactive approach to equipment troubleshooting and repair. Strong communication skills in English; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid certification or demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance, electrical diagnostics, or related fields is highly desirable. $27.67 - $65.00 per hour
