No on-call requirements. Position Overview As a Mobile Trailer & Tractor Mechanic, you will travel to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trailers and tractors. This role is ideal for a self-motivated technician who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering excellent service. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on commercial trailers and tractors. Perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and safety inspections. Troubleshoot and repair brake systems, suspension components, trailer doors, and related equipment. Complete repair orders, inventory documentation, PM schedules, and service records. Prepare safety and compliance documents required by DOT and regulatory agencies. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, diagrams, and service bulletins. Maintain a safe and professional work environment while representing the company at customer locations. Adapt to changing responsibilities based on customer and business needs. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of trailer, diesel, or heavy-duty equipment repair experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience with trailer suspension systems, brakes, and overhead doors. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field. Must provide your own hand tools. Strong communication and customer service skills.

Compensation Pay:
