Responsibilities Diagnose and perform all repairs on trucks including but not limited to, engine, transmission, front and rear axle, suspension, air condition and heating, electrical, air brakes and hydraulic brakes. Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections. Responsible for all mandated Federal Highway Administration annual inspections. Perform offsite repairs with mobile maintenance truck. Maintain vehicle records and work orders. Qualifications 2 years of related experience. Must have own hand tools and toolbox. Ability to use hand tools, air tools and specialty tools such as battery tester, multi meter, refrigerant re-claimer, and engine diagnostic equipment. Must be able to read and comprehend technical manuals. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose engine and electrical systems. Knowledge of applicable DOT regulations. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Previous experience with diesel engines. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must have or be able to obtain a CDL within 3 months. Must be able to pass a DOT physical. Refrigeration experience a plus, but will train. Ability to work overtime as needed.
