Job Summary Chippewa Auto Body & Service is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional automotive service to our customers, supporting the longevity and reliability of their vehicles. Responsibilities Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to keep vehicles running smoothly. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to execute repairs efficiently. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with customers about repairs needed and completed work. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in mechanical systems repair. Ability to perform wheel alignments, tire services, oil changes, and other routine maintenance tasks efficiently. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and safety procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
