Fleet Mechanic/ CDL Driver
Job Description
Northway Fence Inc. is looking to add a dependable, motivated Mechanic to help maintain and service our growing fleet of trucks, trailers, skid loaders, and construction equipment. This is a hands-on role for someone who can take ownership of equipment maintenance, keep our crews running efficiently, and help support day-to-day operations around the shop and yard. We are looking for someone who is mechanically skilled, organized, and willing to jump in where needed.
What You'll Be Doing:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on: Pickup trucks Dump trucks Trailers Skid loaders Small equipment and tools Diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate repairs when needed Handle preventative maintenance and inspections Keep equipment organized, serviced, and job-ready Track maintenance needs and communicate repair priorities Assist with shop organization and yard operations Deliver materials and equipment to jobsites as needed Support field crews and operations team when neededWhat We're Looking For:
Experience working on trucks, trailers, and construction equipment Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and stay organized Strong work ethic and reliability Experience operating skid loaders and equipment is a plus Welding/fabrication experience is a plus Valid CDL Class A required.What We Offer:
