Posted 02/2026 Job Description Job Summary MRO Environment | Overtime Available Overview We are currently seeking experienced Avionics Technicians to support heavy modification projects in Birmingham, Alabama. This role will primarily focus on B-737 Wi-Fi modification installations (Starlink systems). This is a hands-on modification role ideal for technicians with strong wiring, install, and troubleshooting experience in commercial aircraft environments. Must be willing and able to work overtime (OT) as required to meet project schedules. Key Responsibilities Perform installation and modification of B-737 Starlink Wi-Fi systems Route, terminate, and install wiring and avionics components Perform harness fabrication, wire stripping, crimping, and soldering Remove and reinstall aircraft interior panels and equipment as required Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of avionics/electrical systems Interpret engineering drawings, installation manuals, and blueprints Perform system ring-outs and fault isolation Ensure all work meets FAA regulations and customer specifications Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with FAA and company requirements Maintain clean and organized work environment Requirements Strong working knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionics systems Experience performing avionics installations and wiring modifications Experience troubleshooting avionics systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints, installation manuals, and engineering drawings Experience installing harnesses and performing system programming Valid driver's license and ability to pass airport screening Own tools per company tool list Ability to lift 50+ lbs Ability to stand, bend, squat, and work in confined spaces for extended periods Must be able to work overtime as required Preferred Experience B-737 experience highly preferred Modification or connectivity install experience strongly preferred MRO environment experience a plus Why Join?
