PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced Product RepairModification Technician at NAS North Island in California.

Up to 30%, including potential short-notice travel to domestic military installations and Hawaii

Your Mission

As a Product RepairModification Technician, you'll perform hands-on maintenance, repair, modification, inspection, and testing of aerospace systems andponents.

You'll use your V-22 expertise to troubleshootplex mechanical and electrical issues, perform aircraft modifications, verify repairs, and ensure workplies with contractual, regulatory, and flight-worthiness requirements.

This is a role for a skilled aviation professional who can work independently, solve problems in the field, collaborate with engineering and customer teams, and take ownership of quality from initial inspection through final verification.

What You'll Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Independently assemble, disassemble, repair, and modify aerospace assemblies and systems using established maintenance practices and product specifications.
• Remove and replace aircraftponents for repair, replacement, and testing to maintain product serviceability.
• Perform V-22 aircraft maintenance, modification, and repair within ElectricalAvionics or Airframes systems.
• Troubleshootplex pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems to isolate faults and determine appropriate repairs.
• Perform routine andplex functional and diagnostic testing using monitoring instruments, bench equipment, and automated test systems.
• Conduct validation and verification testing to confirm systems andponents are serviceable.
• Resolve routine maintenance and overhaul issues and support root-cause identification of system failures.
• Coordinate assembly, disassembly, modification, and overhaul activities to help ensure accuracy,pleteness, and quality.
• Perform aircraft andponent modifications in accordance with detailed technical instructions and applicable requirements.
• Visually inspectponents before installation or use to confirm cleanliness and serviceability.
• Identify and document part discrepancies and assist with their reconciliation.
• Document repairs, modifications, test results, and inspection findings in accordance with established procedures and contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Review detailed work instructions and procedures for accuracy and support engineering teams in resolving discrepancies identified by technicians.
• Verify repairs and modifications support applicable flight-worthiness requirements.
• Follow aircraft maintenance environment requirements, including FOD control, tool control, and health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with technicians, engineering teams, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Support training activities and help maintain high standards of workmanship across the team.
• Required Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should have:

High school diplomaGED and typically 4+ years of related work experience, or an equivalentbination of education and experience, such as vocational training or an associate degree plus relevant experience.

Hands-on V-22 aircraft maintenance andor modification experience.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in either ElectricalAvionics or Airframes systems.

Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance practices and aerospace maintenance environments.

Working knowledge of FOD control, tool control, and health and safety processes.

Ability to independently troubleshoot mechanical andor electrical aircraft faults.

Ability to accurately follow technical instructions, maintenance practices, specifications, and established procedures.

Strong attention to detail when inspecting, repairing, testing, and documenting aircraft systems andponents.

Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, engineering personnel, and customers.

Ability to travel up to 30%.

Willingness and ability, at leadership's discretion and potentially on short notice, to travel to domestic locations, including military bases within CONUS and Hawaii, for varying durations based on customer and program needs.

Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience are especially encouraged to :

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License

Quality Assurance experience

Extensive depot-level aircraft modification experience
