Summary

Provides support of Organizational Level Line Division functions on F-35 aircraft in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements.

Aircraft Worker supporting F-35 aircraft launch and recovery operations.

Essential Functions

Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modification

Document maintenance actions in aircraft logs and approved maintenance systems

Ensure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programs

Perform other duties as assigned

Duties

Perform Launch and Recovery Operations in F-35 Line Division

Perform and inspect airframe, flight control, hydraulic, pneumatic, and landing gear systems

Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and directives

Troubleshoot and repair aircraft avionics systems

Document maintenance actions per NAMP requirements

Qualifications

2+ years airframe, avionics, or powerplant aviation maintenance experience

2+ years fixed wing fighter aircraft maintenance experience

Must be able to work day, swing or mid shift as required

Plane Captain qualification preferred

Engine run qualification preferred

Former

CDI/CDQAR

preferred

Secret clearance required

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces. Requires sufficient manual dexterity and vision to use tools and inspect aircraft systems. Must be able to work in high-noise environments, wear required PPE, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Compensation

$34.15/hour + $2.65 H&W
