Job Description

Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Instructor - Las Vegas, NV We are opening a new Aviation Maintenance Technician training campus in Las Vegas and are seeking an experienced A&P to join us as an instructor. We specialize in preparing students from around the world to successfully earn their FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification through focused, high-impact prep courses. Many of our students are experienced mechanics seeking the final preparation needed to pass their exams, including a significant number of active duty military and veterans. This is an opportunity to help expand an established aviation maintenance training program into our new Las Vegas campus—working with modern equipment, a structured curriculum, and a team focused on producing job-ready graduates for the aviation industry. What You'll Do Deliver hands-on and classroom instruction in airframe and powerplant systems Prepare students for FAA A&P certification exams with a focus on practical application and test readiness Mentor a diverse, student population and support their progression toward certification Support experienced mechanics and military-connected students in bridging knowledge gaps and achieving certification Contribute to a professional, safety-first training environment Participate in program development and continuous improvement What We're Looking For FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification 3+ years of industry experience (more preferred) with General Aviation Experience Strong practical knowledge across airframe and powerplant systems Interest in teaching, coaching, and developing the next generation of technicians Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and varying experience levels Professionalism and attention to detail in both shop and classroom settings Why This Role Stands Out New campus with updated tools, equipment, and facilities Structured program with support for instructors Opportunity to have a voice in how the program is delivered locally Work with a global student base, including experienced mechanics and military veterans Consistent schedule designed for work-life balance Compensation $40 - $50 per hour, depending on experience If you're an experienced A&P looking for a more stable schedule and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the next generation of technicians, we'd like to connect.
