Document findings clearly and provide accurate repair recommendations to customers and internal teams.
Maintenance Support & Aircraft Integration
Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events by performing avionics‑related inspections, repairs, and system checks.
Collaborate with A&P/IA technicians to ensure seamless integration of avionics work with mechanical and structural maintenance.
Maintain proficiency in Cirrus SR2X and SF50 electrical systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and OEM maintenance publications.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, Cirrus maintenance manuals, Garmin installation manuals, and internal quality‑control procedures.
Prepare accurate logbook entries, work orders, configuration sheets, and return‑to‑service documentation.
Maintain traceability and certification for all avionics components and materials.
Customer & OEM Interaction
Communicate professionally with aircraft owners, pilots, and operators regarding avionics findings, upgrade options, and system performance.
Provide expert guidance on Garmin product capabilities, upgrade paths, and lifecycle avionics planning.
Coordinate with Garmin Technical Support and Cirrus Field Service teams on complex issues, software anomalies, and engineering‑approved repairs.
