Full-Time | Overtime Available Job Description We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to support troubleshooting, installation, modification, and repair of avionics systems on corporate and general aviation aircraft. This position is based at a Part 145 repair station located at Washington County Airport and offers the opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of aircraft in a team-oriented hangar environment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair aircraft electrical and avionics systems. Install, modify, and upgrade avionics equipment, including navigation and communication systems. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Fabricate, route, and terminate aircraft wiring and harnesses. Perform functional testing and system checks following installations and repairs. Support avionics upgrade projects and aircraft modifications. Document maintenance activities in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Collaborate with maintenance and avionics team members to complete projects on schedule. Qualifications 5+ years of avionics experience on corporate, business, general aviation, or military aircraft. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Experience with avionics installations, repairs, wiring, and harness fabrication. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Familiarity with FAA repair station procedures and maintenance documentation. Ability to work overtime when required. Must possess personal tools appropriate for avionics work. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Garmin avionics systems. Experience working on aircraft such as Gulfstream, Learjet, Falcon, Challenger, Hawker, Citation, King Air, Beechcraft, Piper, or similar platforms. A&P certification. Experience performing avionics upgrades and system modifications. Work Environment This position is based in a hangar environment at Washington County Airport. Technicians work closely with a team of maintenance and avionics professionals supporting a variety of corporate and general aviation aircraft. The role involves hands-on work with avionics test equipment, hand tools, and aircraft systems while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety. Open to candidates with corporate, general aviation, commercial, or military avionics experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
