Job Description
Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Technical Manual Developer to author Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Technical Data. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and sustainment of F-35 Program organizational level avionics and life support systems technical data to ensure all contract requirements are met. This role requires a professional with a solid background in aircraft organizational level maintenance, specifically within avionics and life support systems. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Education & Experience (One of the following): Bachelor of Science (BS) + 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience. Associate Degree (AS) + 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience. High School Diploma (HS) + 6 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance, modification, and/or project management.
- Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and process specifications
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- F-35 modification experience
- F-35 maintenance experience
- Familiarity / direct experience with and using
SGML/XML, SGML/XML
Authoring- Removal, installation, and inspection of aircraft components
- F-35 Engineering and Logistics systems experience (JDL
- JSF Data Library, PDM
- Product Data Manager, QAD
- Quality Assurance Document, ATLAS
- Advanced Technical Logistics Applications System, VAS
- Visual Augmentation System, SFM
- Shop Floor Manager)
- Experience at military aircraft operational and flight test sites
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
$88189- $149922 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
