We're a small, fast-moving team, and our mechanics are central to the quality our customers count on. The Role We're looking for an experienced bike mechanic who wants flexible hours working on premium road and tri bikes. You'll inspect, repair, tune, and certify incoming bikes so every one leaves our shop ready to ride. The schedule is built around your availability, which makes this a good fit for shop mechanics wanting extra hours, racers, students, or anyone who wants steady wrenching work without a rigid 9-5. What You'll Do Inspect incoming bikes for frame damage, wear, and component condition Service and tune drivetrains, brakes (rim and hydraulic disc), wheels, and cockpits Replace and install parts, including groupsets, bottom brackets, headsets, and tires Set up and adjust electronic shifting (Shimano Di2, SRAM AXS) Flag issues and document each bike's condition accurately for listing Keep the workstation clean and tools organized What We're Looking For Professional bike mechanic experience, either in a shop or an equivalent setting Strong familiarity with road bikes and their components (Shimano, SRAM, Campagnolo) Comfort with carbon frames and torque specs Attention to detail, since our customers are buying used bikes sight-unseen and trust our inspection Ability to work independently and efficiently Reliable transportation to Santa Ana Nice to Have Triathlon/TT bike experience, including integrated cockpits and internal routing Hydraulic brake bleeding and tubeless setup Barnett, UBI, or similar mechanic certification Why Elevate Flexible scheduling Every day you work on high-end bikes from top brands Small team, no corporate red tape A growing company with room to take on more hours or responsibility
