Perform routine maintenance:
oil changes, belt and chain adjustments, blade sharpening/replacement, hydrostatic service, brake service, tire changes, suspension adjustments, and battery checks. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues using diagnostic tools and service manuals. Conduct engine rebuilds, carburetor cleaning/rebuilds, EFI diagnostics, clutch and transmission repairs, and deck/spindle repairs. Install accessories and attachments (baggers, lighting, winches, guards, performance parts, etc.) Test ride or operate equipment to verify repair quality and safe function. Follow manufacturer procedures, torque specifications, and dealership service standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. Complete detailed work orders and service documentation. Communicate equipment condition, repair recommendations, and estimates to service advisors or customers. Stay current with manufacturer training, certifications, service bulletins, and new product technologies. Assist with equipment setup, pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), or showroom prep. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or experience in powersports, small engines, or outdoor power equipment repair. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. Ability to use diagnostic software, multimeters, specialty tools, and standard mechanic tools. Ability to read/interpret service manuals, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting, time management, and attention to detail. Valid driver's license; motorcycle endorsement may be preferred. Cycle Zone is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
