Full-Time Join Our Team at SeaView Community Services SeaView Community Services is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our treatment facilities, residential programs, offices, and staff housing properties safe, functional, and well maintained. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, can manage multiple priorities, and takes pride in completing quality work. About the Position The Maintenance Technician supports SeaView facilities throughout Seward, including: SeaView Plaza Recovery Center Adult Mental Health Residential Center Sober Living 4-Plex Staff housing properties Working under the direction of the Property Manager, this position performs preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and facility improvement projects. Key Responsibilities Perform routine repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliances, and building fixtures Complete preventive maintenance and regular facility inspections Respond to work orders and urgent maintenance needs Identify repair needs and coordinate specialized contractors when necessary Maintain records of repairs, inspections, equipment, and supplies Assist with renovation, improvement, and capital projects Prepare staff housing units for occupancy Support snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal maintenance Follow safety, licensing, and organizational standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Two or more years of maintenance, construction, or facilities experience preferred Knowledge of general building systems and repair practices Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment Strong troubleshooting, organization, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and communicate effectively Basic computer skills Valid Alaska driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position Must successfully complete required background checks and onboarding requirements What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Retirement plan with employer match Paid leave and holidays Professional development opportunities Meaningful work that supports individuals and families in our community About SeaView Community Services SeaView Community Services is a nonprofit behavioral health organization serving individuals and families throughout the eastern Kenai Peninsula.
