We are looking for a talented Facility Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the functionality of the facility and outside facilities. In this position the Facility Maintenance Technician will have a strong knowledge of building maintenance and repair including HVAC and electrical. What you will be responsible for : Monitoring and repair of the facility (includes HVAC, electrical systems, building maintenance, building grounds, etc.) To implement preventing measures Preparation and monitoring of maintenance schedules To care and monitor safety devices Care of fire protection devices: Wet and dry sprinkler systems Sprinkler control center CO2 system Fire dampers Hydrants (inside/outside) Conscientious and comprehensible work in an efficient and timely manner To ensure the security guidelines To maintain and repair all devices and facilities Planning, disposition and execution of repair work To monitor the measures for preventative maintenance To ensure the security guidelines All other duties as assigned by supervisor. What will you bring to the table (Skills/Experience Required): High school diploma or GED equivalent required Technical School degree or certificate in related field preferred (ie. HVAC, tooling, maintenance, engineering, etc.) Building maintenance and repair Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools. Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Determining the kind of tools and equipment are needed to do a job Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings or structures. Knowledge of relevant safety equipment, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of the structure and function of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
