Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing facility as a Maintenance Technician on the second shift, where your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team dedicated to maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and safety. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex machinery, and ensuring all systems operate at peak performance. Duties include but are not limited to: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding equipment, molds, and automation systems to ensure maximum uptime and consistent automotive‑grade quality. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on molding machines, molds, robots, and auxiliary equipment Troubleshoot mechanical issues (hydraulics, pneumatics, alignment, valves) Diagnose electrical faults (sensors, heaters, relays, PLC I/O) Support mold changes, water‑line setup, and EOAT checks Maintain robotic systems (3‑axis, 6‑axis, sprue pickers) Respond quickly to downtime Follow safety procedures and automotive quality standards Required Skills Strong hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting Ability to read electrical schematics Experience with molding machines (Engel, Milacron, Husky, etc.). preferred PLC familiarity (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) Mechanical repair and precision measurement skills Preferred Technical maintenance or mechatronics certification Automotive Tier 1/Tier 2 experience Mold maintenance knowledge Experience with Fanuc, Yushin, or Wittmann robots
