Job Description

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and machinery within the fabrication shop to ensure safe and efficient operations. This position requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with experience working on 3-phase power systems and overhead cranes . Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment, machinery, and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including 3-phase power systems, motors, control panels, and wiring . Inspect, maintain, and repair overhead cranes and hoists to ensure safe and reliable operation. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement corrective actions. Perform equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades as needed. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime. Assist with general facility maintenance and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred. 2+ years of experience working with over head cranes and 3 phase power Experience troubleshooting and repairing 3-phase electrical systems . Experience inspecting and maintaining overhead cranes and lifting equipment . Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read electrical diagrams and equipment manuals. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Jones Valley Fabrication is an
