Maintenance Technician Amesbury Apartments Pell City, AL Amesbury Apartments is looking for reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in maintaining our beautiful apartment community in Pell City, AL. Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping our property in excellent condition. This is a full-time position offering stable hours and the opportunity to make a real difference in our residents' living environment.
Schedule Full-time:
40 hours per week Monday through Friday Rotation on-call for maintenance emergencies (evenings and weekends as needed) Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the apartment community Troubleshoot and repair issues involving HVAC systems, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing Replace and install water heaters Change out plugs, switches, and other electrical components Complete work orders efficiently and to high standards Complete Unit Turns in a timely manner for new move ins Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies on a rotating on-call basis Maintain a clean and safe work environment Preferred Skills & Experience While not all skills are required, the ideal candidate will have experience or working knowledge in one or more of the following areas: HVAC systems Electrical work (including changing plugs and switches) Carpentry Plumbing - (replacing faucets, toilets, hot water heaters) We are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Requirements Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects and work in various conditions (indoor/outdoor) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents Ability to work independently and as part of a team Background check required for this position What We Offer Full-time, stable employment (40 hours/week) Competitive pay based on experience Paid Time Off Select Holiday's Paid Opportunity to work in a supportive team environment On-the-job training for additional skills If you are a reliable, hardworking individual who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in a job well done, we encourage you to apply!
