Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing and production equipment Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on machinery and equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, chains, pumps, valves, sensors, switches, and other machine components Troubleshoot electrical equipment and controls Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams Perform routine inspections to identify equipment problems before failures occur Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs Assist with installation, modification, and improvement of production equipment Perform basic welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as needed Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend corrective actions Maintain an organized maintenance area and appropriate inventory of commonly used parts Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and applicable OSHA standards Work closely with production supervisors and operators to minimize equipment downtime Perform general facility maintenance when needed Preferred Skills and Experience We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in several of the following areas: Industrial or manufacturing maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting and repair Electrical troubleshooting 120V/240V/480V electrical systems Three-phase motors Hydraulics and pneumatics Motor controls, contactors, relays, and sensors PLC troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Welding and fabrication Bearings, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, and conveyors Pumps and compressors Reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Experience with [CNC equipment / presses / lasers / brakes / stamping equipment / specific machines used at your facility] is a plus.
