Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair issues related to appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances, HVAC components, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems following safety protocols and manufacturer specifications. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, troubleshoot complex problems, and execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime. Proactively manage the preventive maintenance program to include any necessary painting, installation or cleaning. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed in compliance with operational standards. Skills Experience with appliance repair, HVAC system repair (including air conditioning), refrigeration maintenance, and kitchen equipment servicing. Proven experience in mechanical systems repair and maintenance across diverse environments. Skilled in appliance installation, equipment repair, and routine maintenance procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients alike. Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology trends and best practices in maintenance operations. Familiarity with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) processes to optimize equipment uptime. Construction experience is a plus for understanding building systems integration. Leadership qualities that enable guidance of junior technicians or team members when necessary.
