e2140-72118 Job Description Step into an impactful role working with students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a school-based, pediatric-focused environment. This full-time, on-site opportunity, located near North Little Rock, AR, welcomes both local and travel candidates who are passionate about making a difference in childrens lives and supporting their educational growth.
Qualifications:
Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families Strong organizational and communication skills Flexibility to adapt to varying student needs in a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
Work directly with students to support the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) Implement treatment plans designed by Occupational Therapists to help students develop and improve skills needed for daily school activities Document student progress, maintain records, and communicate updates to the therapy team Assist in evaluating and recommending appropriate interventions and adaptations Participate in meetings with school staff and families as an integral member of the student support team This opportunity offers more than just a meaningful career path.
