CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Locate and procure the necessary components to facilitate system repairs. Ensure documentation accuracy by managing work orders, time logs, and parts requisitions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Candidates must meet the following educational, experiential, and technical standards to be considered for this role. Proficiency in operating standard hand tools and power equipment like grinders, drills, and saws. Competency in welding techniques and the use of cutting torches. Fundamental knowledge of facility upkeep, including lighting, plumbing, and painting. Understanding of inventory management and spare parts procurement protocols. Certification and operational experience with scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and powered pallet jacks. Physical capability to lift loads weighing up to 50 pounds. Willingness to work overtime hours as the business requires. Availability to maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and various shifts. One to two years of mechanical experience within a manufacturing or distribution setting. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to diagnose and resolve common mechanical system issues. Dedication to completing all tasks assigned by management. Strong organizational skills to effectively manage and close out work orders. Help protect company assets and equipment by maintaining accountability for all assigned tools and expenditures. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by prioritizing safety in every task.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The role is based in a warehouse setting, requiring daily work on concrete surfaces. Essential physical activities include constant standing, walking, and the ability to push or pull equipment. Reliability in attendance and punctuality is vital. The position involves frequent bending, reaching, and stooping, as well as handling objects and lifting up to 50 lbs. Visual acuity is required for reading printed and electronic data. This is an on-site role that requires a full-time physical presence to support team collaboration, mentoring, and direct interaction.
