Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become a vital part of maintaining pristine, safe, and inviting aquatic environments. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all pool systems operate smoothly, water quality remains optimal, and customer satisfaction is achieved through expert service and maintenance. Your hands-on skills and proactive approach will help create enjoyable experiences for pool users while upholding safety standards and operational excellence. Room for growth and learning repairs as well. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment to ensure optimal functioning. Conduct water chemistry balancing by testing chemical levels and adjusting chemical agents such as chlorine, pH adjusters, algaecides, and other water treatment chemicals to maintain safe and clean water quality. Troubleshoot pool equipment issues promptly, identify mechanical faults, and carry out necessary repairs using hand tools and power tools. Clean pools thoroughly by skimming debris, vacuuming floors, brushing walls, and maintaining surrounding areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Handle chemical agents responsibly by following safety protocols for storage, handling, and disposal to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain detailed service logs, inspection reports, and records of chemical usage to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Experience 1099 Pool contractor position Prior experience working with pool maintenance or in an aquatic facility environment is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, and water treatment equipment. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot pool equipment issues quickly and effectively. Experience handling water treatment chemicals safely and accurately balancing pool chemistry. Customer service skills that enable clear communication with clients regarding maintenance needs or safety procedures. Outdoor work experience that includes exposure to various weather conditions while performing routine tasks. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment repair techniques essential for maintaining pool systems.
