Job Description

PEBBLECREEK RESORT COMMUNITY IS HIRING A CERTIFIED POOL OPERATOR - BRING YOUR TALENT AND EXPERIENCE TO OUR TEAM!

The Pool Operator is responsible for the management and oversight of all pool and spa operations, including water quality, sanitation, cleaning, chemical handling and storage, along with the associated equipment, controllers and monitoring records. Ensures compliance to all city, state, and federal regulations regarding the safe operation of a "Class C" pool.

YOUR JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

Monitoring water quality for all pools and spas, related controllers, chemicals and chemical feed devices. Testing water, troubleshooting and adjusting chemicals as needed to ensure water quality, along with coordinating the resolution of water quality issues with contracted pool equipment service company. General pool/spa maintenance and cleaning, including vacuuming, brushing, shocking, and backwashing, etc. Coordinate the servicing and repair of all pool mechanical/structural components, including pumps, flow meters, filters, gauges, pool lights, decking, fencing, safety equipment, etc. Storage and handling of all chemicals, including MSDS and required safety postings and labeling. Write and update as needed key operational procedures for filtration, backwash, cleaning, water quality testing, chemical storage, accident response, etc. Monitor and ensure compliance to all city, state, and federal regulations regarding the operation of a Class C pool. Coordinate all Health department, city, and state pool inspections, along with resolution of any deficiencies.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/COMPUTER/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 2

years experience as a Class C pool operator/manager or equivalent Must possess valid Certified Pool Operator's Certificate Understanding of chemical analysis/handling, filtration systems, pool/spa mechanical systems, state and federal regulations, as related to pools/spa operations. Basic computer skills
