And we need an energetic, dependable, and fun-loving Pool Service Technician to help make that happen! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service. Duties Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining water clarity. Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as testing water chemistry and adjusting chemical levels to ensure safety standards are met. Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and timers; perform repairs or replacements as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair or replace faulty components efficiently. Maintain detailed service logs documenting work performed, chemical levels, and equipment status for each client site. Identify potential issues early by conducting thorough inspections and communicate necessary repairs or maintenance recommendations. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies to promote a secure working environment. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair or maintenance preferred. Hands-on experience with pool maintenance, cleaning, and chemical balancing is highly desirable. Prior service technician experience in pool or related industries is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly. Ability to work independently while managing multiple service appointments efficiently.
