Job Description A Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following duties:
Preventative Maintenance:
Organize, implement, and conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment and buildings.
Repair Work:
Perform troubleshooting and necessary repair work on production equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
Maintenance Documentation:
Record the date, time, and details of maintenance work performed for accurate tracking and reporting. Research parts needed / get quotes and communicate with machine vendors when needed.
Facility Upkeep:
Perform yard maintenance and snow removal to ensure safe and clean premises as needed
Safe Equipment Operation:
Operate equipment in a 100% safe manner following appropriate regulations, policies, and procedures. Other duties as assigned
Day Shift:
6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday Employee Benefits Weekly paycheck Boot reimbursements up to $125 Leading Medical, Dental and Vision insurance Paid vacation Company paid life insurance 401K retirement account with 5% company match On the spot bonuses up to $100 Qualifications Knowledgeable in the following- Hydraulics, Air systems and pneumatic controls, Electrical systems, Automotive , Machining , CNC , Robotics , Weld equipment , Plumbing, HVAC, PLC, VFD Strong Troubleshooting skills, Ability to think "outside the box" Willing to learn and adapt to changing technologies and needs of the company. Good Organizational Skills Able to communicate well and excel in a team environment Willing to call tech support or communicate through email to get help with breakdowns Willing to work flexible hours Foresight to see and complete work without guidance Ability to multi task and prioritize work load Traits of Successful Employees Desire to build long term relationships Exhibition of good communication skills when working with fellow employees Ability to tolerate physical demands of the position Ability to complete tasks according to planned schedule Willingness to help out where needed
