We are an independent, established resort with a team of caring professionals who keep high standards and take pride in giving every guest a deep sense of time, place and calm. The Role We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our spa, pools, bungalows and grounds running smoothly and looking their best. This includes our Olympic-size mineral pool and the geyser-fed water systems that make Indian Springs one of a kind. It is varied, rewarding work for a skilled technician who enjoys solving problems and is trusted to get the job done. Responsibilities Start up and shut down pool systems daily; maintain all pool, spa and geyser systems Perform electrical repairs and installations, plumbing repairs and new plumbing installations Maintain all equipment and appliances to the highest standard Implement and carry out a consistent, effective preventive maintenance program Complete painting, carpentry and general repairs so all areas stay in excellent condition Identify and correct safety hazards promptly Complete the General Manager's daily task list and report back at the end of each day Maintain adequate supplies, purchase materials for projects, and keep storage areas and the barn clean and organized Recommend improvements and purchases that enhance the guest experience, reduce costs and improve efficiency Respond promptly to requests from all managers and assist in other areas as needed Qualifications 2+ years of maintenance experience in a hotel or resort setting Intermediate plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills Strong mechanical aptitude and a thorough understanding of water systems Ability to plan, schedule and estimate the cost of projects Hands-on, self-motivated and able to make sound decisions with minimal supervision Good communication and people skills Physical Requirements Lift up to 100 pounds Frequent reaching, stretching and bending Walking and standing approximately 95% of the shift What We Offer Competitive pay Full benefits package [medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO Opportunities for personal and career growth A unique, historic Napa Valley workplace

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
