We are seeking to fill an F/T non-exempt (M-F 7:30 am -- 4:00 pm) Maintenance Technician position. This is an excellent opportunity if you are a hands-on, goal-oriented person that possess' excellent people skills and the ability to multi-task. We offer competitive wages and benefits package after a 90-day probation to include: medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, and vacation, as well as a 401(k) with company matching.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will require maintenance repairs and improvements as needed. This is a hands-on position. Team member would assist and support the Manager in maintaining the association in an ongoing first class condition.
Ideal candidate:
Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision. Ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time.
Requirements:
Ability to lift and move 50 pounds frequently. Must have basic plumbing skills. Willingness to learn drywall repair, carpentry, painting, and stucco and masonry work. Must possess the physical strength and ability to carry out task assignments in a safe and efficient manner. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, climb, balance, reach, loading/unloading and moving heavy materials. Ability to walk around the facility for extended periods of time.
