In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining overhead doors and related systems across various commercial and residential sites. Your expertise will ensure that doors operate smoothly, safely, and in compliance with building codes. Duties Install, repair, and maintain overhead doors, including garage doors, sectional doors, and rolling steel doors using power tools and hand tools. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and installation instructions to ensure precise door hanging and fixture installation. Conduct glass installation and metal stud framing as part of remodeling or new construction projects. Perform electrical work related to door operators, sensors, and safety devices following building code compliance standards. Utilize welding skills for structural repairs or custom modifications when necessary. Engage in heavy lifting of door sections and mechanical components safely while adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during site visits. Qualifications Proven experience with door installation, door hanging, and mechanical repair in construction or remodeling environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in glass installation, fixture installation, caulking, and handyman tasks. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints. Construction site experience including metal stud framing, remodeling projects, and building code compliance. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work at heights on ladders or scaffolding as needed. Knowledge of electrical work related to garage door operators or sensors is preferred. Pay:

$28.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
