This role performs general construction and maintenance work at multiple multifamily apartment communities in San Diego (Escondido, Carlsbad, and Oceanside), with a particular focus on plumbing repairs and apartment turnovers, as well as painting, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs — all performed in accordance with company standards. Job Responsibilities Perform plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs across all unit types Diagnose and repair mechanical issues and unit appliances Lead and complete unit turnovers to a high standard, ensuring units are move-in ready on schedule Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance work orders Respond promptly to emergency/reactive work orders to minimize downtime Document all completed work orders in property management system Perform touch-up painting in common areas as needed Repair concrete, masonry, and fencing as required Support installation of new equipment/appliances during upgrades Ensure compliance with safety regulations by completing safety-related work orders Minimum Qualifications and Requirements Five (5) years of experience in construction and/or property management maintenance, with a strong plumbing and turnover background EPA certification required Must have a reliable personal vehicle and the ability to work independently Must be able to work on-site in San Diego Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday each week (8-5 pm) Must hold a valid driver's license Regular, consistent, and timely attendance
