Job Description
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking a dependable and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to support multiple commercial customer locations. This position is responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting building systems, and completing general repairs across commercial properties. The technician will be provided with a company vehicle and tools and will travel between customer sites within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple trades, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can provide professional, face-to-face customer service. Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance according to assigned work orders. Troubleshoot and repair general building, equipment, and facility issues. Perform minor plumbing maintenance, including: Repairing and unclogging toilets and urinals Replacing and maintaining valve assemblies Repairing faucets and plumbing fixtures Maintaining automatic flush sensors Perform general carpentry and building maintenance. Repair drywall, prepare surfaces, and complete painting and touch-up work. Maintain walls, floors, doors, and other building components. Perform minor electrical maintenance as permitted by applicable state laws, including: Light fixtures Wall switches Electrical outlets Light bulbs Ballasts Sockets Perform service inspections and asset inspections as required. Complete work orders and accurately document services performed. Use tablets, smartphones, and business systems to: Access and complete work orders Document work performed Submit service reports Upload inspection photos and reports Submit timesheets and expense reports Maintain purchasing documentation Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete assigned work. Communicate professionally with customers and internal support teams. Build positive customer relationships and maintain customer satisfaction. Complete required safety and compliance training and participate in safety meetings. Provide estimates for larger projects and additional services when appropriate. Perform emergency, preventative, and routine maintenance as assigned. Follow all applicable OSHA standards, company safety policies, building codes, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician Qualifications High school diploma, degree, certification, or equivalent professional experience preferred. 2-5 years of general maintenance experience , including minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience. Experience in one or more building trades such as: Electrical HVAC Plumbing Carpentry Landscaping Specialty floor care Commercial maintenance or facility services experience highly preferred. Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Applicable trade certifications and licenses preferred. Valid driver's license in good standing required. Ability to read and understand safety policies, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedures. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Pay:
$28.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per weekBenefits:
