You will leverage your mechanical expertise to ensure operational safety and efficiency for our diverse client base while delivering high-quality field service solutions. Responsibilities Execute precise installations and troubleshooting of commercial doors, dock levelers, and associated hardware. Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures, including springs, hinges, and access control systems, to restore functionality. Ensure all site work adheres strictly to current building codes and safety regulations. Provide professional consultation to clients regarding repair options and long-term maintenance strategies. Maintain detailed service documentation and accurate reporting for all completed field assignments. Perform rigorous quality inspections on all hardware and door assemblies to guarantee peak performance. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in the commercial door or hardware industry. Demonstrated proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and precision measurement equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and electrical components. Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders up to 20 feet, and work in various positions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Skills Current AAADM certification. Experience with welding or a strong desire to master metal fabrication techniques. Familiarity with low-voltage systems and modern access control integration. Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
