Hello! We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic II to join the family! Del Real Foods is a traditional Mexican food manufacturer born out of a family farm. Maintenance Mechanic II works under general supervision and following the appropriate GMPs the employee performs various assignments using supervisor or other higher-level technician as guidance to perform daily assigned tasks.

Paid HolidaysResponsibilities and Duties:
1.) Test power/electrical components of machinery2.) Troubleshoot Mechanical Conveyors, ovens, pneumatic and hydraulic tools (Grinder, etc.) and other machinery used3.) Work with the motor controls in machines4.) Identify and repair conveyors and ovens.5.) Troubleshoot PLC6.) Identify issues and repair conveyors and ovens.7.) Ability to troubleshoot PLC.8.) Provides rapid response when equipment malfunctions or breaks down.9.) Proper and safe use of hand and power tools and working on machinery.10.) Perform necessary repairs to recover from component failure, identify defective components, specify, and communicate to supervisor parts needed to make the repair11.) Schedule and perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance and service for the assigned equipment. Inspect machines regularly for malfunctions, including visual and sound inspection and document the service performed.12.) Complete written record of work performed daily through submitting daily reports13.) Follow industrys best practices, GMPs, SOPs, LOTO procedures, and other safety guidelines14.) Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements and Duties:
1. High School/ G.E.D2. Intermediate electrical knowledge (120/220/480)3. Proficiency with standard metric tools4. Minimum 1 year to 4 years experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus)5. Industrial Mechanical Technician Certification is a plus (Not required)6. Industrial Electrical Technician Certification is a plus (Not required)After completing an application, qualified candidates will be scheduled for a phone screen followed by an interview with the Maintenance Department management team. Selected candidates will then be scheduled for an offer of employment and orientation!
