Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Seasonal Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, to ensure optimal operation throughout the season. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. If you thrive on hands-on work, problem-solving, and working with diverse machinery, we want to hear from you! Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues and execute repairs efficiently. Conduct repairs on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, bearings, etc. as well as any other duties assigned and ensure safety and compliance. Ability to use hand tools, power tools (electrical and pneumatic), welding equipment, for equipment assembly and repair tasks. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used; ensure equipment is serviced on schedule. Ability to work 8-12 hours per day, with additional hours as needed Reliable and punctual Ability to work mornings, evenings and/or weekends Must be able to handle stress and interact effectively with others Excellent written and verbal English/Spanish language skills Knowledge of 120V/230V/480V electricity Welding skills Climbing and walking on catwalks and staircases. Kneeling, crouching and stooping throughout the work period. The ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Forklift certification is preferred but not required. Experience Proven experience working as a heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems repair Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working with power tools and welding equipment. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong communication skills to support Department Manager and/or Supervisor keep the facility(ies) running clean and efficient. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
