Investors' Property Services is a 46-year-old, privately held full service commercial and residential real estate company. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to undertake the maintenance activities on behalf of property owners. The successful candidate will encompass the following skills:
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing skilled and unskilled maintenance tasks to maintain and improve property functions for clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs carpentry, electrical, basic plumbing, and installation of appliances and fixtures in property Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor Paints interior and exterior walls and trim Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete Operates pressure wash equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses Installs light fixtures and power supply outlets Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment such as truck, street sweeper, and riding mower Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies Performs other related duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Make ready experience, preferred
OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Competent skills using a variety of tools. Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision. Detail oriented. Able to work in a team environment and take direction.
