We are actively hiring skilled Maintenance Technicians who take pride in their work, are reliable, and enjoy hands-on problem-solving in a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks for residential properties. This is a field-based role where you will travel between properties within a 25-mile radius in LA County, complete work orders independently, and directly impact residents by keeping homes safe, functional, and well-maintained. What Youll Do You will handle a variety of daily maintenance requests and small repairs, including but not limited to: Plumbing Repairs Fixing leaks under kitchen sinks and general plumbing leaks Unclogging toilets, sinks, and bathtubs Repairing or replacing garbage disposals Fixing P-traps Re-caulking sinks, tubs, and toilet rings Re-grouting sinks and wet areas Electrical & Fixtures Repairing light fixtures and resolving no power issues in rooms Installing GFCI outlets and switches Replacing switch cover plates Installing smoke detectors Repairing ceiling fans and exhaust fans Carpentry & General Repairs Repairing holes in walls Fixing or installing doors and door screens Repairing broken window railings Installing shelving Minor cabinet repairs, vanities, and countertop fixes General Maintenance Painting and touch-ups Replacing AC filters Installing shower doors Maintaining clean and organized workspaces Completing work orders using AppFolio in a timely and professional manner Conducting property inspections and identifying preventative maintenance needs What You Bring Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman work Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Comfortable using mobile apps/software (AppFolio experience is a plus) Required Qualifications (Must Meet All) Authorization to work in the U.S. Fluent in Spanish Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to pass a drug test Valid, unrestricted, and unexpired California Drivers License Clean driving record Reliable transportation with active vehicle insurance Ownership of a complete set of maintenance tools Compensation & Benefits $25 - $30 per hour $200 monthly gas reimbursement $62.50 monthly tool allowance $20 monthly cell phone reimbursement Subsidized health insurance, plus vision and dental plans 401(k) plan with up to 4% employer match Six (6) paid holidays per year Six (6) paid sick days annually Five (5) of accrued paid vacation days annually Ongoing opportunity for growth and advancement as the company continues to expand Why Join Us Opportunity to work independently while being part of a supportive team Growth opportunities as the company continues to expand Make a real impact on residents daily living experience We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
