Maintenance & Facility Support Technician Congregate Living Health Facility - 3.5 Modesto, CA Job Details Part-time $20 - $25 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Moving Ability to follow instructions Purchasing Handyman experience Technical troubleshooting support Full Job Description Healthcare facility seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance & Facility Support Technician to assist with routine facility maintenance, repairs, organization, and general operational support. This is a working maintenance position intended for someone who is comfortable taking direction, completing assigned tasks efficiently, and helping wherever needed to keep the facility safe, organized, functional, and in compliance with applicable health and safety requirements. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, professional, and willing to handle a variety of maintenance and facility-support responsibilities. Position Requirements Must be available to work weekdays with flexibility as facility needs arise Occasional weekend availability may be required Emergency on-call availability may occasionally be needed Must be professional, dependable, punctual, and able to work well with others Must be able to receive direction, follow instructions, and communicate progress on assigned tasks Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills Ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments in a timely manner Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to approximately 70 lbs., including boxes, furniture, mattresses, wheelchairs, and other facility equipment Must be willing to learn new tasks and assist in different areas as needed Must successfully complete required employment health screening, drug screening, and state-required criminal background clearance Duties May Include Completing general repairs and routine maintenance throughout the facility Replacing or repairing fixtures, equipment, hardware, and other facility items as needed Performing basic preventative maintenance Assisting with exterior facility and grounds maintenance Moving furniture, equipment, supplies, and storage items Maintaining clean, safe, and organized storage and maintenance areas Purchasing or picking up maintenance supplies and materials as directed Identifying maintenance concerns and promptly reporting them to facility leadership Assisting with preparation for inspections, surveys, and facility compliance needs Completing maintenance-related tasks necessary to support compliance with applicable regulations and health and safety codes Assisting the Facility Administrator and leadership team with facility-related projects and other operational tasks as assigned Handyman experience and personal tools are preferred. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, follows through on assignments, and understands that maintaining a healthcare facility requires attention to safety, cleanliness, professionalism, and teamwork.
