2:00pm - 10:30pm Pay rate: $25.00
Job Description :
Understand and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) Perform all work as assigned while adhering to established standards associated with workmanship and safety. Dismantling and re-assembly of equipment to perform repairs, cleaning and lubrication according to established maintenance schedules. Testing, troubleshooting and repair of 110/230/460 volt electrical equipment including motors, starters, relays, timers, panels, breakers, conduit and wiring. Able to read and interpret Electrical Control Schematics for trouble shooting purposes. Minor programming and troubleshooting of VFD's and PLC's. Understands and adheres to established safety programs (exp. Lock out/tag out, ladder safety, etc.). Communicates effectively at all levels in the maintenance and operating departments. Provides rapid response when equipment malfunctions or breaks down. Ensures that all the equipment is ready prior to production. Ensures the building is maintained in compliance to city and fire regulations. Assist in coaching and training of maintenance and operating personnel. Develop an advanced understanding of how the bakery process equipment should work. Facilitate open communication with fellow mechanics, supervisors and other departments to ensure that all equipment problems and food safety issues are handled on a timely basis. Perform PM's on timely matters (Preventive Maintenance).
Requirements:
Have 5-10 + years in mechanical work (Bakery machinery experience is a plus) Posse's good language skills (verbal & written) to interpreter procedures comprehend instructions and communicate effectively with others. Be self-motivated, a self-starter and self-directed to work with little or no supervision in a team environment. Hard working, dependable, safety and quality conscious. Bilingual, English/Spanish. Available to work any shift, as required. Work standing or walking for long periods of time. Walk around the facility and be able to lift at least 50Lbs. Proper and safe use of hand power tools, and working machinery. Welding experience. Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task Forklift, scissor lift certificated is a must.
