We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our team in Ontario, CA. This is a direct hire opportunity with a well-established and nationally recognized company. Job Summary The Maintenance Technician I will perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on mobile site machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Monitor and maintain fluid levels in equipment Check and adjust tire air pressure Change engine, transmission, and hydraulic oils and filters Change and repair tires as needed Replace lights and perform minor equipment repairs Grease and lubricate machinery and equipment Clean equipment using compressed air and power washers Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Maintain accurate maintenance practices and support team productivity Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Minimum 1 year of machinery servicing, maintenance, repair, or related experience Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and safely Physical Requirements Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting Ability to lift up to 65 pounds with assistance when required Ability to work around moving machinery and mechanical equipment Ability to work in indoor and outdoor manufacturing environments Work Environment Exposure to dust, fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical equipment Must be able to withstand fertilizer and soil product odors Required to wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) , including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and other required safety gear Safety-focused environment with adherence to company policies and procedures Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
