Job Description

Job Overview Our maintenance techs perform a variety of maintenance services at our multi-family properties and industrial buildings throughout the Inland Empire.
Duties Carpentry:
Replace window hardware, replace screens and broken window glass, or arrange with vendors for replacement.
Electrical:
Repair and installation of wiring, switches, outlets, smoke detectors, CO2 detectors, thermostats, cables, breakers, lighting, and appliances. Basic A/C diagnosis.
Plumbing:
Diagnosis and basic plumbing repairs including water heaters, leaks, breaks, unclogging lines, and installing new fixtures.
Painting:
Drywall repairs, prep work, painting, replacement of damaged wood and trim.
Grounds:
Maintain grounds in a clean and orderly manner. Experience Qualified candidates will possess knowledge of and experience in: The safe use of a variety of hand and power tools. Problem-solving skills. The ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and determine the best way to correct the problem. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate professionally with vendors, tenants, and residents. Able to cooperatively work in a team or effectively work alone. The ability to follow instructions and complete assignments in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Additional Requirements At least 2 years of apartment or building maintenance experience. Possession of a valid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance. Must have a reliable work vehicle capable of carrying materials. Must have own work-related tools. Available to work nights or weekends for emergency calls. The ability to climb ladders and work on projects involving heights. Comfortable with pets. Able to pass the drug test and background check. This is not an on-site position and requires driving to the properties.
