Job Description
The Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing scheduled preventative maintenance throughout the hotel and assisting the Engineering team with the upkeep of guest rooms and public areas. Duties Complete preventative maintenance assignments as scheduled. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and hotel equipment to identify maintenance concerns. Replace air filters, light bulbs, batteries, and other routine maintenance items. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Assist with guest room maintenance and repair projects. Maintain accurate records of completed preventative maintenance work. Keep engineering work areas, shops, and storage rooms clean and organized. Use tools and equipment safely and properly. Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to Engineering leadership. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous maintenance experience preferred, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks in a timely manner. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. Pay rate is $21.
