Job Summary Join our team as a Pool Technician, pool service technician starts pay per stop. $16 a stop up to 45$ a stop. The average stops an hour is 3. where your job is to keep pools safe, clean, and inviting! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining pool systems, ensuring water quality, and troubleshooting equipment to deliver exceptional aquatic experiences. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will help us uphold the highest standards of safety and cleanliness, providing a positive environment for our clients and community. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of pool plumbing systems, filtration units, pumps, and other equipment to ensure optimal operation. Balance pool chemistry by handling water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to maintain proper water quality standards. Conduct thorough pool cleaning, including skimming debris, vacuuming surfaces, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime. Monitor outdoor work environments for safety hazards and perform preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan. Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, maintenance activities, repairs performed, and safety checks in compliance with industry standards. Skills Strong knowledge of pool plumbing systems and mechanical components used in aquatic facilities. Experience handling water treatment chemicals safely while balancing pool chemistry effectively. Proficiency with pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, equipment troubleshooting, and repairs. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools efficiently for equipment repair and maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or facility staff. Outdoor work experience with the ability to work in varying weather conditions confidently. Familiarity with aquatic facility operations, water treatment processes, and safety protocols related to chemical handling.
