$40-$60/HR
PURPOSE
AND PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITES
This position is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment within our facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of all machinery. This position will report to Maintenance Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Shop Support:
Provide daily maintenance support to the shop floor, ensuring all equipment and machinery are functioning properly and efficiently.
CNC Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines, including troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
Coolant Tank Clean Out:
Regularly clean out coolant tanks to maintain optimal performance and extend the lifespan of CNC machines.
Assembly Equipment Repairs:
Diagnose and repair assembly equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production processes.
Deburr Equipment Repair:
Maintain and repair deburr equipment, ensuring precision and quality in all deburring processes.
Facilities Plumbing:
Handle plumbing repairs and maintenance within the facility, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing new plumbing fixtures as needed.
Light Bulb Replacement:
Replace light bulbs and ensure proper lighting throughout the facility to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
EHS Support:
Assist with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a safe workplace.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification in mechanical maintenance or related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
Proficient in spoken and written English
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, measuring equipment, as well as diagnostic equipment.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and hydraulics.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
Forklift certified
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various conditions (heights, confined spaces, etc.).
