This on-site position requires hands-on repair work, maintenance coordination, and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate takes initiative, communicates effectively, and is committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and fully functioning property for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and perform general maintenance tasks and repairs (e.g., plumbing, electrical, appliances, painting, minor carpentry) Receive, prioritize, and manage maintenance work orders Ensure timely completion of all maintenance requests Coordinate with vendors and supervise outsourced work as needed Conduct routine inspections of units, common areas, and building systems Accurately document inspection findings and maintenance activity Enter and update work orders in the AppFolio platform (or via email/phone logs) Maintain inventory of tools and supplies Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance issues when on call Ensure safety protocols are followed across all maintenance activities Support the property management team with special projects and other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications
REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in property management are a plus.

1-2 years of office administrative/management experience

General Hours and Pay Range $20-25.00 per hour Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Potential lodging credit in accordance with California state regulations. Physical Requirements and Working Condition This position requires extended periods of walking, standing, climbing ladders, lifting/moving heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and use of hand/power tools. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
